Building Trade Examination Applications and Licenses The Department processes the following Building Trade Examinations and Licenses. For information, visit the Construction Service Center at 201 N. Figueroa Street, Room 110, Los Angeles, CA 90012. The Trade License Counter hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm and Wednesday 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. You may also call 3-1-1 for customers inside Los Angeles County. Persons outside of the Los Angeles County area should call (213) 473-3231. To apply for a trade license, select the Trade License Application and the Instructions for Completing the Trade License Application.
