The
Development Services Case Management office (DSCM) opened in July 2011. This office is just the beginning of tangible development reform, supporting economic development by providing a special service to the major and special projects that require specific assistance and problem solving. For other types of projects, we also provide preliminary plan review service to address Code-related questions raised by design professionals. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible to move or expand your business within the City of Los Angeles.
Our office is comprised mainly of Case Managers from the Department of Building and Safety, Department of City Planning, Department of Public Works Bureau of Engineering, Department of Transportation, and Department of Water and Power. Our services also include the participation of representatives from other City departments from the Construction Liaison Network. Each project is assigned a Case Manager representing each of these departments as necessary. Case Managers work together as a team to guide a project to completion, each providing their expertise in one of the City's major processes – permitting, entitlements, public improvements, and utility design.
DSCM Concierge Services are now offered at our
Metro and
Van Nuys Development Services Centers.
